The Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education organized an expert review meeting on the "14th Five-Year Plan" for the development of basic education.

To earnestly carry out the preparation of Jiangsu Province's "14th Five-Year Plan" for basic education development, improve the planning preparation procedures, and establish a sound expert consultation and demonstration system, on February 11, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education organized an expert demonstration meeting for the "Jiangsu Province '14th Five-Year Plan' for Basic Education Development (Draft for Review)". Wang Zhan, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education and former Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province; Hu Jinbo, member of the Party Leadership Group of the Provincial CPPCC and Party Secretary of Nanjing University; Wang Bintai, former Director of the Provincial Department of Education; and eight other experts attended the demonstration meeting. Gu Yuehua, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Education, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Leaders from relevant offices of the Provincial Department of Education, the Provincial Institute of Educational Sciences, and heads of related departments also participated in the meeting.
